A solid and comfortable addition that will still be around in twenty years

We love the Galiano Rocker. It is beautiful to look at, and very comfortable to sit in. Whenever I need to find my husband, I can usually find him on the deck relaxing in the Galiano Rocker.

Last year we visited Richard at his Galiano Island workshop. We were blown away with his "artwork" approach to outdoor furniture. We immediately purchased a Galiano and a Gossip chair. They are extremely comfortable, great looking and built to last. We highly recommend Richard's Galirondack furniture collection.

We have just finished another dinner sitting on our Galirondack chairs (me 5'3" on the Gossip chair and he 6'3" on the Galiano) with the Coastal Shelf table between us holding the wine-----watching the sun shimmering on Trincomali Channel---what could be better? Richard is a genius perfecting his designs, using highest quality cedar from local forests, and building superb outdoor furniture in his North Galiano workshop.

We purchased 4 Pebble Beach deck chairs from Bodega North Woodworks after seeing a prototype at the Galiano Fair last year. The classic design appealed to us, as did the sturdy construction and the brightly striped fabric seat which ingeniously comes off for cleaning. We have enjoyed having the chairs out on the deck. They are a pleasure to the eye, and are comfortable for everyone in the family - including those who are well over 6 feet tall.

We absolutely Love our "Pebble Beach" chairs. From the bright beautiful, durable (and convenient to wash!) fabric to the outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail - these chairs are easily portable and so comfortable. They are perfect for a day at the park for our Sunday Funday softball league and perfect on our patio the rest of the time.

My wife and I purchased a new home last year on Galiano Island with a nice covered patio area. The space was begging for some nice, comfortable patio furniture... so our search began. We looked at all sorts of outdoor furniture at every store we could think of in both Vancouver and Victoria. Everything that we looked at seemed either too cheap to last more than a few years, or so outrageously expensive that it just wasn't affordable. We retreated back home feeling a bit defeated. It turned out that the solution was right there in our little community. We discovered the furniture created by Richard Dewinetz of Bodega North Woodworks. The quality and craftsmanship of the furniture is amazing, and the materials that Richard uses are perfect. The pricing is so competitive with much lesser quality furniture that it surprised us.
